Vintage rock n' roll with a blues edge.
Breaking into the music scene in 2012, Suns of Stone bring out a vintage rock n' roll sound influenced by guitar and blues rock from the late 60s and 70s along with modern throwback stylings.
"A tinge of the Queen’s of the Stoneage mixed with a hint of Skynard and layered with semblances of the Black Crowes, Suns of Stone just simply rock. Nothing pretentious, nothing overdone… just exactly what you’d want in a rock and roll band." - Jae Pyl, IMN
Their debut EP was recorded on a limited budget by themselves at Raven Street Studios in Ottawa and was released on October 20th. Over the summer of 2012, they have been working on their first full length album on a larger scale at Audio Valley studios and anticipate a spring 2013 release with touring to follow.
Suns of Stone bring a simple attitude to the table - Rock n roll. Period.
"Bite, braun and a bit of bad-assery: this is the Suns of Stone." - Jae Pyl, IMN
Destroying stages, playing too loud, darting, the girls.
